Red Sox vs. Yankees – those words are enough to get the blood pumping for just about any sports fan. About the only thing better than watching a classic New York – Boston battle from your couch or favorite sports bar is to have Red Sox tickets for any game when the Bronx Bombers come to Fenway Park. Let’s face it, a big part of Major League Baseball’s popularity right now is due to the extraordinary rivalry between the Red Sox and Yankees. The two teams are probably responsibly for selling as many MLB tickets and merchandise as the rest of the league combined.

Having Fenway Park tickets is a treat in itself – you get to step back in history to the oldest ballpark in the Majors (opened in 1912). You can see the Green Monster (and now you can even sit atop it) and the “Lone Red Seat” in section 42 where a mammoth Ted Williams home run landed after a 502-foot journey. It’s the field where Babe Ruth once played, where Bucky Dent hit his unlikely homer in the 1978 division playoff game and where Carlton Fisk famously waved his shot fair in the 1975 World Series. Of course Fenway is also the site of some incredible games during the 2004 playoffs, which ended with the Red Sox winning their first World Series title since 1918. No Red Sox ticket holder will ever forget the incredible comeback from a 3-0 deficit against the hated Yankees in the ALCS, or the way the Red Sox dominated the St. Louis Cardinals to become the world champions of baseball. Just imagine if you had Boston Red Sox tickets to any of those games.

Even if you don’t count that remarkable run in 2004, the Red Sox are clearly the most fascinating, dramatic and exciting team in Major League Baseball. How many times has David “Big Papi” Ortiz won the game with a walk-off home run? And it’s hard to match the intensity of Curt Schilling on the mound, especially after how he pitched with that bloody sock against the Yankees. Johnny Damon and Pedro Martinez might be gone, but new stars have replaced them, like lights-out closer Jonathan Papelbon and young fireballer Josh Beckett, and of course Manny Ramirez is still being Manny Ramirez. Red Sox Nation is as strong as ever and still growing. It’s no wonder that the hottest baseball tickets are Boston Red Sox tickets. Red Sox Nation Red Sox Roster
